Who is Eligible for WIC Services?

You are eligible if you meet the following four (4) requirements:

  1. At least one of the following are true:

  you are pregnant OR

  you are postpartum with an infant less than 6 months of age OR

  you are breastfeeding an infant who is less than 1 year of age OR

  you have a child under 5 years of age

(Note: Parents, caregivers, and foster parents can apply for their infant and child)

  1. You live in Michigan.

  2. You have a medical-based or dietary-based condition.

  3. You meet the WIC income guidelines listed below:

Effective March 25, 2011 Gross income (income before taxes) cannot exceed the following amounts:
